GAIN&SUSTAIN:EUROPE
"Gain&Sustain:Europe” was founded in 2009 in Graz, Austria. The organisation aims to support social, economic and ecological sustainability in Europe and developing countries all over the world. We develop our services with heart and mind and are competent partners in funding consulting, project development and implementation as well as mediation and youth work. Our services are open to all people and offered in a networked context. In doing so, we value methodology and interdisciplinary thinking and acting. The active participation of representatives and partners from different stakeholder groups and perspectives enables a multidisciplinary approach and sustainable, win-win effective strategies for all involved.
MUNDUS ASSOCIATION
Asociación Mundus is a non-profit organization that was set up in 2013 and has headquarters in Zaragoza and Santa Coloma de Gramenet (Barcelona). The mission is to promote education, volunteering, intercultural and long-life learning from a non-formal education approach, so as to foster a more inclusive, diverse and conscious society. Its main task is to manage international mobility projects for learning purposes -internships, volunteering, youth exchanges, training courses and strategic projects- for youngsters and professionals. Asociación Mundus has implemented several projects in the frame of Erasmus+, European Social Fund, Europe for Citizens and PON, among others. Thus, the association has a wide experience coordinating and implementing projects of active citizenship and youth empowerment, mobility projects (EVS/CES, youth exchanges, youth workers mobilities, KA2…), as well as Erasmus+ VET projects (both as hosting and as sending organization). In Cheer You @p, Mundus is in charge of leading dissemination. Besides takes part and organizes several multiplier events..
SOLIDARITY TRACKS
Solidarity Tracks is a non-profit company, promoting the values of sustainable development, human rights and entrepreneurship education through youth mobility, exchanges, intercultural learning on local, European and worldwide scale. Solidarity Tracks act for individuals’ personal development in relation to local sustainable development on environmental, economic and social field. The ultimate goal of the organization is to understand the links which unite people, inspire, and support the spirit for an equal and mutual development. Our target groups: especially young people including people with social problems and disabilities, youngsters with fewer opportunities and marginalized groups in our case women with less opportunities, furthermore we involve also in our activities children, parents, families & elderly people. Solidarity Tracks is running an international network of young entrepreneurs from all over the world. This network called YouthEclub is an open educational resource, where youngsters can benefit from online Training courses and have support from the e-mentors (https://e-learning.youtheclub.eu/). This club is focusing to promote social entrepreneurship among youngsters. In Cheer You @p project Solidarity Tracks is responsible for THE ONLINE TRAINING MODULES which will be STRUCTURED IN 5 main TOPICS: 1) Business Idea Creation & Substantiation, 2) Product / Service Development, 3) Financials, 4) Social Change, 5) Impact (contents will provided by the partners and trainers of each partner organization). The overall learning objective of our entrepreneurship education is to provide participants with a deeper insight into (social) entrepreneurship business modelling. Noored Uhiskonna Heaks (NYH) is a non-governmental organization, which unites people of different age, social class, nation and interest who have the same goal: make the world of 21st century a bit better and friendlier to its inhabitants. We act as a platform where oung people would have the opportunity and support to develop the changes they want to see in society and, therefore, grow as citizens. Although NYH is based in Tallinn, our activities reach a national range level in Estonia. The main activities can be divided into four big groups: education, democracy, ecology and culture. Youngsters believe that these aspects are not only closely connected with the majority of youth problems, but also provide a wide space for growth, innovational thinking and creativity, which can be accumulated firstly by young people. Working in the international field: the main purpose of the organization is finding opportunities for young Estonians to experience European (or extra-European) mobility, through the promotion of job offers, scholarships, internships, volunteering and intercultural exchanges. We belong to different international networks of cooperation, especially in the fields of Social Rights, Migration, Leadership and Intercultural Cooperation. We coordinate international volunteers around Estonia in different areas. On the local level: we act as a platform of cooperation among many local NGO’s, Tallinn Youth Council, different student councils in our region, social centers and youth centers. Those activities intend to foster local participation for cultural integration and active citizenship in the diverse society of young people and students..
UNIVERSITY OF RZESZOW
University of Rzeszow (UR), founded in 2001, is a state university, one of the biggest tertiary education institution in Subcarpathian region in Poland. The current structure of UR allows for a variety of academic research projects and educational programs in many diverse academic disciplines (science, law, economics, sociology, philology, medicine, biotechnology).
UR is engaged in formal bilateral cooperation with about 180 foreign academic institutions as well as 330 universities within the Erasmus+ program from Europe, USA, China and the Ukraine. The areas of cooperation involve student, Ph.D student and/or scientist exchange as well as cooperation in organizing international scientific conferences, publication of articles and lectures. The project will be realized by the Institute of Economics and Finance, namely by representatives of the Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship. The Department has a wide experience in realization of different international projects i.e. „Support for cross-border regional e-cooperation”, “Social entrepreneurship and educational practice for young people SE+ED” in the frames of Erasmus+.
The Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship has been very active in the field of organization of training and workshops related to entrepreneurship such as “Entrepreneurial student”, “Together we can do more – social cooperatives” or “Business – how to start and run your first company”. It actively cooperates with many Universities across the world, organizing conferences, events and scientific research. The Department cooperates with the ASECU organization – Association of Economic Universities of South-Eastern Europe.
University of Rzeszów will be especially responsible for Intellectual Output 1: Online survey. It will allow to narrow down to specific obstacles/challenges in order to give a more tailored answer to the obstacles and problems young women face when they want to become self-employed. Based on this, solutions can be proposed to improve the situation on the long-term.
